I am pleased to share some personal information with my patients. I understand that most of my patients are here for the first time, and many will not need my services again. Hopefully, I can allay some fears with the following summary.

I received my undergraduate education at Cal Poly Pomona University. I received my Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Southern California in 1983. I was in private practice performing general dentistry for two years until I decided to further my training. I was accepted into a residency program at Valley Medical Center, Fresno in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I completed the program in 1988. I earned my Board Certification in Oral an Maxillofacial surgery from the American Board of Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1990.

I am a member of numerous professional organizations and I am active in the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. I have lectured many times on oral surgery and I have published research papers within the field. I maintain an aggressive attitude towards continuing education to keep abreast of the most modern techniques. In addition, I attend a Lutheran church in Charter Oak and am a member of a fishing club in Upland.

I have been in practice in the Covina area since 1988 and enjoyed having a professional relationship with Dr. Alan Felsenfeld for much of that time. We have remained friends since he took a professorship with UCLA to teach. I have been the only surgeon in the office since 1995.

For a more formal presentation of my education, licenses and certifications, private practice, membership in professional organizations, professional activity,. honors and awards, invited lectures and professional presentations, publications and current hospital affiliations please review my Curriculum Vitae also included within this website.

My office and I are dedicated to providing the highest quality surgery in a safe, caring and sanitary environment. We realize most patients are anxious in a surgical office and we will continuously strive to make your visit as relaxing as possible. Remember, we are here to help you and truly appreciate your trust.
